Walking through Seoul at night, there are many different shops and restaurants which are lit up. Signs in different colors, tanks of fish, people walking, smells of tasty dishes linger in the air.

It was quite interesting to find some very different knives at the fish market in Seoul, Korea. I bought several of these to take home and use in Denmark.

This was a great little shop with fantastic ceramics and lacquerware at the Incheon Airport.

One of the highlights of the research trip to Korea was visiting Lee Kanghyo at his studio. This is some of his work with white slip and halos.

The Fish Market in Seoul was really an interesting place. There were all kinds of great fish on ice there. It was near the Korean Museum, which has great displays of Korean Ceramics, and other crafts and art.

The Korean National Museum is one of the most diverse and interesting places to learn about Korean archeology, history, art and culture.

Lee Kanghyo and I went out for Korean BBQ at a little country place near his studio. It was really fantastic, with all the kimche and vegetable dishes.
